Baltic Sail Gdańsk is the biggest international sailing event in Gdansk since 1997. This year it lasts form 29th of June to 2nd of July. During four amazing days of Festival each and everyone could experience sailing adventure, find out about maritime traditions of Gdansk and Hanseatic League. All events and attractions are divided into theme zones where everyone can find something interesting.
THE SAILING SHIPS ZONE
The main place of the whole Baltic Sail 2017 will be Wartka street full of big and beautiful sailing ships. During the festival you’ll be able to sail on Zatoka Gdanska, visit docked sailing ships, observe battle in the port or sailing ships parade. This year newness are cruises to Westerplatte and mini-cruises on the Motlava river. Tickets are available here.
THE MUSIC ZONE
That part of Baltic Sail Gdansk always is most popular. During two days of concerts all fans of shanties will be able to listen bands like: Mechanicy Szanty, Majtki Bosmana, Krzysztof Jurkiel Jurkiewicz.
THE CHILL OUT ZONE
The chill out zone can mean only one thing – beach in the middle of the city. Sand, sun, sunbeds, umbrellas, baskets, deckchair, volleyball… – everything that should be on the beach. Of course don’t forget about the view – Baltic Beach will be located nearby Motlava river with sailing ships all over.
